First ever throwback Thursday post!

Welcome to my first ever throwback Thursday (TBT) blog post! Every week I will post either a picture of something personal and a story to go along with it or just a general throwback picture (because who doesn't love 90's nostalgia?!) Without further ado here it goes!

Look how young we look!

This picture is from my last day of high school back in June 2008 (I don't look much different in these past 5 years have I?!).  The girl I am with is Lauren Dardzinski.  Way back in freshman year in 2004 was my second year in the West Irondequoit School District.  My first period was a global history class with Mrs. Hanning (she will be in a future TBT!).  The girl who sat next to me was Lauren.  We quickly struck up a friendship and soon formed the 3 Musketeers with Shannon Bell.  

Despite us only seeing each other probably a handful of times since we graduated high school, we still talk regularly.  I was selected (and honored) to be in her party when she gets married next fall.

So that is it for today's "episode".  Let me know what you guys think of this weekly post, suggestions on how I can better this down in the comments!

How rude of me!

I just realized I did not properly introduce myself in my first blog post!

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Drew. I am currently a student at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am 23 and kicking it.

I am a sports fanatic in every sense of the word. I played tennis essentially my entire life and its played a massive role in my life thus far. My allegiances lie with quite a few teams actually. The obvious being the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres (yeah they both lose a lot, I know).  When I was in Philly my freshman year, the Phillies won the World Series and I quickly became a fan of the team.  I live and die on the University of Michigan football program, I have loved them since I was 8 years old. I attended two games in high school and it was some of the best experiences I ever had during that point in my life.

If I had to sum myself up in a sentence it would be "lover of all things western New York". Wegmans. Garbage Plates. Duffs wings. Ted's hot dogs. White hots. Dinosaur BBQ. Pontillo's Pizza. Bills and Sabres.  You name it in upstate/western and I love it.

I am a self appointed music appreciator. I listen to all genre of music.  I played piano for some years and played sax as well for a year or so as a kid.  Admittedly I do not listen nor enjoy ALL genres of music but I do try my best to give it all a shot because who knows what hidden gems are out there in the ever popular folk-grunge-new age genre of music! 

I have a quite a love for the city of brotherly love as well.  I spent my freshman year in Philadelphia and fell IN LOVE with the city so if i blog about anything Philadelphia it will come off as quite biased!


I am quite active on social media. Twitter far more than Facebook these days. My twitter handle is 'drewedborg12'

Back to the blogging world?!

Hello blogging world!

Well, this is not really the first time I have tried to blog.  I had to blog in my human communications class a few years back but we HAD to blog about human comm and it was quite boring really.  It did not allow me to be creative in anyway at all.  I am not saying I am creative by any stretch of the imagination (look at the name of my blog!) but this blog at least allows me to blog about what I want, when I want to do it.  This is being made for my internet marketing class and my professor is allowing us to blog about anything we want. So who knows maybe I will learn to love blogging and end up keeping this going as my own personal blog!

Here goes a semester of attempting to learn how to blog and looking foolish doing it!
